Women Empowerment

Growing up loving “boyish” things, I was totally ignorant on the issue of gender inequality and thought that being called out for doing boyish things. Upon learning more on the issue during my studies and post-studies, I stand with women’s liberation movements and won’t take “like a girl” as an insult.

In February 2016, I attended Code First: Girls sessions at my university and was inspired by their movement and everything they do to encourage females into tech because it ain’t just a boys’ club. This category is dedicated to empowering women into tech, science and engineering. I stand behind CFG, She++, #ILookLikeAnEngineer, #GenderEquality!
