Happy new year!! Before we dive straight into 2017, I wanted to share my accomplished goals and my plans for the year ahead. If you’re interested, I also wrote a post on the top 5 lessons I’ve learned from 2016. Table of Contents 2016 “resolutions” I achieved:Other things I’m proud of, outside of my resolutions:2017 – Further […]
Being sick wasn’t the way I wanted to start my New Year. I had to take a few days off work but thankfully, my flu has now almost completely gone! The good thing that came out of being sick was that I got talking to a few of old friends who I went to primary school with.
After reading Chynna’s series of letters to herself, Georgie’s recent letter to her 18-year-old self and laughing at all tweets from the hashtag #WhatIWouldTellMy15YearOldMe this morning, I was inspired to write a letter to 16-year-old Pauline. 16-year-old me would’ve finished GCSEs and going onto A Levels at this point (I think) and would be in the midst of a toxic relationship. […]
Over the past week, I’ve cheated a little bit with my clean eating streak and treated myself (and was treated) to a bunch of awesome places to eat (with equally amazing company!) Whenever I plan to go out and eat out with friends or not, I naturally sway towards Italian food but I’m glad I […]
What a crazzzzzzzy month! Looking back, I’m happy with how my year has started. In fact, I’m feeling the most positive (wait, this is possible?!) and happiest I have ever been in the last few months. Very thankful for the love, patience, and kindness everyone has shown me. And the amazing opportunities I’ve been blessed with! Table […]
I’ve been pretty loud on social media about this, so you probably already know but I have to share the exciting first week of February with you. Besides being extremely busy at work with the new semester starting tomorrow, Code First: Girls (CF:G) courses started this week. I’ve written about CF:G in the past, including when […]

The end of the month is always a great opportunity for reflection. February has especially been a great month for reflecting – it’s been so exciting packed with lots of key events that brought amazing new experiences! With some changes in my life right now, I’ve also had the opportunity to find more about myself and found […]
Last night, I attended the International Cultural Evening, it was pretty cool. The International Cultural Evening (ICE) is an annually organized show which features multicultural performances. I enjoyed the competitive edge to the show – the energy the different societies (representing different cultures) was amazing and contagious too. I naturally have a lot of energy […]
I always want to blog events in my life as they happen but being such a perfectionist, I find it a challenge. Also juggling what I post on social media about events in addition to writing a post about said event seems a lot to handle at once. I’ve been involved in a lot of social […]
At the start of March, I couldn’t believe how quickly February went by but March has definitely been the quickest month this year! I’ve not blogged as much as I would have liked to (I had planned once every week) because I was all over the place (literally) but now I have so much I […]
Sometime in November, I remember feeling bored with my current everyday life – not necessarily in a negative way – I was craving to do something somewhere that wasn’t in Sheffield. Last year one of my new year resolutions was to travel more.
