🎙 Building the ‘Pawlean’ brand
I’m proud that over several years, the colour purple has caught on to become recognizable as something related to Pawlean. Well, at least in the circles that I’m a part of. I don’t think it’s as recognizable as your well-known brands, but still, at a small scale, I’m pretty happy. 😛
One of my most frequently asked questions about everything I build online is, “how did you create that graphic? how did you create your logo? how did you create your ‘brand’?”
You may know how much I don’t like the term “personal branding“… I just wish there was something else, but I’ll use that term for now through gritted teeth. 😬 So although I don’t like to think of myself or the things that I create as a ‘brand’, I understand why it is seen as that.
I never know what to answer when asked that question without looping my brother, Clark into the conversation. I’ve said this multiple times, but Clark is the one behind everything I create online. He’s created all my branding and built it up from ideas that I’ve sent him over the years.
In another episode of “a podcast by Pawlean“, I have Clark on the show again sharing his experiences of building up the Pawlean brand including the history and evolution over the years. He also shares some of his loosely termed “thought process” of other projects he’s worked on including Labour Nexus and several other political campaigns.

Clark is also open for any ad-hoc freelance work over the summer, so if you like what you hear on the podcast then get in touch with him!
