πŸŽ™ Paying it Forward to change the Tech industry

Hello, friends πŸ‘‹πŸΌ

We’re coming in hot with another collaborative episode on the podcast. This one discussed a topic that was especially a close one to my heart as I have said in the past (and will continue to do so…) that the act of paying it forward has opened doors for me that I didn’t even know possible. I’m grateful for everyone that has paid it forward to me, and I want to continue to do so myself as I continue on my journey.

Hopefully, this episode resonates! Thanks again to my wonderful guests, Kim, Emma and Darren for their time and insights. As I said, they are the leaders in this space and are truly changing the face of tech. Don’t forget to check them out on social media ✨

I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support from mentors and those who opened the doors for me when I knocked and asked for help.

Today I’m joined by my friends, Kim, Emma and Darren, as we discuss the power behind the concept of “paying it forward”. We’ve all contributed to this idea of paying it forward through teaching courses such as Code First Girls and mentoring to help others land their first tech job. We hope that this episode inspires you to contribute to your communities and help others in your own way and capacity!

This subject is a close one to my heart, so I genuinely did get a little emotional throughout πŸ˜‚  A huge thank you to Code First Girls and similar initiatives for changing the lives of so many people in tech. Including my own!
