CDE Universe

CDE Universe was the first in-person conference dedicated entirely to Cloud Development Environments. Held in San Francisco, it brought together 120 attendees including engineers, platform teams, and developer tool leaders to explore the future of how we build software. The event featured talks, discussions, and demos focused on CDE adoption, best practices, and the evolving developer workflow landscape.

As the first conference of its kind, CDE Universe created a focused space for the growing CDE community to come together in person, share real-world experiences, and shape the direction of cloud-based development tooling.

I organised all aspects of CDE Universe and served as the Master of Ceremonies on the day. From initial planning through to execution, I was responsible for bringing the event to life, coordinating logistics, driving the marketing efforts, and ensuring a smooth experience for speakers and attendees alike.

• Managed end-to-end planning including venue coordination, scheduling, speaker outreach, and day-of logistics in San Francisco
• Hosted the event on stage as Master of Ceremonies, introducing speakers and guiding transitions between sessions
• Coordinated all on-the-ground logistics for the San Francisco venue, ensuring a welcoming experience for all 120 attendees
• Drove awareness and registrations through community channels, social media, and direct outreach to the CDE community
