Photolog: a 15-day break πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Our recent trip to a Canary Island wasn’t packed with exploring like previous adventures. But it was definitely the type of relaxing holiday that we needed, especially with the past 2 years being probably the height of our collective stress. 🀯

I thought that a photolog would be the best way to capture the fun that we had over our 15-day break. Here are 15 photos!

Captured from our cheap Jet2 flight
Waking up to seeing these every day…πŸ₯°
To quote Matt, “This is one of the best photos I’ve ever taken.” I can’t agree more. πŸ˜‚
This tree was super interesting to us. We still haven’t figured out what those pods are? Peas? Beans? Bananas?
I was rocking my favourite hat that I picked up on our trip to Greece in 2019. On the left here is probably the most I’ve ever seen of umbrella plants! It reminded me of the one I have growing at home.
Views from the beach, I love the mountains!
Our hotel resort had this awesome pool that we definitely made the most of!
On one of the days, we walked 1hr to get to another beach. I preferred this one because it wasn’t as rocky as the other one closest to us. I swam for hours here, it was wonderful πŸ₯°
This resort was everything you ever needed for a relaxing break. My favourite part was when hotel staff would dance to the same song every single morning without fail. That was fun. πŸ˜†
The palm trees ~at night~
Your classic “I’m on a cheap, uncomfortable RyanAir flight!”
After spending a night in Watford when we got back, we explored London the next day. This day was the most I’d probably walked in a very long time!
Don’t mind me, just another London tourist about to visit Liz!
We watched Hamilton LIVE! It was a great experience. My Hamilton phase was around this time last year so it was nice to see a fresh new POV on the story and songs!
On our way back home from London to Leeds – ending a truly wonderful break 😊
